Four Types of Admission Services

Many of our clients come to us while they are still in college. We discuss their long-term plans and goals, and help them select college courses that will best prepare them for their desired post-graduate area of study. We also advise on summer internships and jobs, test prep, and extracurricular activities that will help round out the student’s application. We can remain a resource throughout the undergraduate years, weighing in on strategy and offering advice as needed.

Now it’s time to apply. This service is offered to students who are graduating from college and are ready to apply to graduate school, as well as to people who have been out in the workforce for a few years and are looking to enhance their credentials or switch careers. It’s never too late to seek a graduate degree.
The full graduate admissions service includes the following:
• Development of a list of appropriate graduate or law schools• Application review and editing
• Personal statement development and editing
• Additional essay development and editing
• Resume review
• Interview preparation
• Character and Fitness addendum strategy
• Strategy regarding application timing and approach
• Advice on test preparation, as well as referrals to tutors
• All other assistance, as required, until applications are submitted

What if you were waitlisted, or didn’t receive an adequate financial aid package? Maybe you need to defer your enrollment. These situations can be complicated, and they require a thoughtful plan of action. As part of the post-decision service, we can advise on waitlist strategy, scholarship negotiation, and deferrals. We can also help communicate with schools, edit letters of continued interest, and provide other services depending on the needs of the applicant after they have received an initial decision from the school.

During a one-hour session, clients can seek advice about the graduate school application process or discuss concerns that are specific to their application.
